Holiday Home

The holiday home is located in the village of Lauris on the southern flank of the Luberon in Provence, with a view of the Durance valley. Well-known towns in the immediate vicinity are Cadenet, Bonnieux, Lourmarin, Lacoste, Ménerbes, Oppède and Mont Ventoux.

The house has its own grounds of 5,000 m², situated at the end of a road with no through traffic. It is the old Chemin de Bonnieux which today continues as a footpath through the Luberon to Bonnieux. The house rests against the first flanks of the Luberon with a view of a valley and has no immediate neighbours. Due to its location against the flank you enjoy natural protection against the Mistral.

A private driveway of 200 meters in good condition further assures you of 100% privacy and absolute tranquility. Around the house you will find only nature, vineyards and olive trees.

From the house you can immediately start one of the numerous (GR) walking and cycling routes through the hills of the Luberon or in the Durance valley.

The holiday home is a massive bastide consisting of a main residence for 8 people with ground floor access at the back and a guest house for 4 people with access at the front. Each residence has a terrace of 60m²

If you only rent part of the property (guest house or main residence), there is a possibility that another group will be present on the property.

In the garage downstairs, you will find an extra fridge with freezer, sunbeds with cushions, garden tables and chairs. There you will also find all the toys for the children.

The living room is very spacious (7 x 8) and has a fireplace. Connected to the bar at the open kitchen (4x4). There is a dining table for 12 people and a spacious leather lounge. There is also a TV and a surround system with radio, DVD and USB connection.

The kitchen is very fully equipped with dishwasher, large fridge, freezer, microwave, oven and stove with induction plate, lots of storage and complete cutlery, cooking utensils and crockery for 12 people. There is also a coffee maker, kettle, mixer and a kitchen scale.

Floor plan:

The living room of 6 x 4 meters with open kitchen gives directly to the terrace. There is a dining table for 6 people and a lounge. Furthermore, there is a TV with DVD and USB connection next to the radio. TV and internet connection is provided.

The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, large refrigerator, microwave, mobile oven and stove with induction hob, a coffee maker, kettle and mixer.

The two bedrooms each have their own shower, double sink and toilet. Bedroom 1 is equipped with a 160 cm bed for 1x2 persons and bedroom 2 has a 140 cm bed.

• There is a laundry room at the back of the garages with washing machine, ironing board, iron, drying rack and vacuum cleaner.
• The kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave, oven, coffee maker and kettle.
• There is a gas barbecue on the terrace.
• There are bicycles for big and small and toys.
• There is parking for several cars, two of which have shelter from the sun.
• There is plenty of garden furniture available (tables, chairs, sun loungers, parasols).

The pool measures 10 X 4 meters, has a Roman entrance and is between 120 and 150 cm deep. Around the pool, with a view of the hills, there is a spacious terrace with sunbeds. The pool is fenced and complies with French legislation on safety. Maintenance is provided weekly by a qualified person. The pool and its surroundings offer 100% privacy.

The Mas d'Olea is a true paradise for children:

• The swimming pool is heated and is has a child-safe fence and entrance.
• The roman entrance of the swimming pool is a nice playground under the watchfull eye of the parents. 
• Many bikes for children are availbale (all ages). 
• Many board games 
• Voor baby's en peuters: 2 reisbedden met matras, ververskussen, wc potje, baby-peuter-kleuter stoelen om aan tafel te zitten
• Pingpong tafel, badminton set, darts, petanque, tennis raketten & tennisballen, voetbal,...
• Grote terrassen waar de kinderen volop kunnen spelen
• De woning ligt midden in de natuur zonder gevaar (op 200m van de straat - enkel voor lokale bewoners)

On the two terraces of 60 m² each you will find shelter from the full midday sun at any time of the day. A sandbox in the shade and lots of toys for toddlers and preschoolers on site, make the house definitely child-friendly.
The large garden, the safe environment and the omnipresent nature give a lot of freedom without danger. In the house there are two cots and high chairs. The swimming pool is located ten meters from the house a few steps higher, child-safe fenced. The Roman entrance to the swimming pool is a nice playground under the watchful eye of the parents.

By car:
The holiday home is located between Avignon and Aix-en-Provence.
Follow the highway A7 and take the exit 26 Sénas. The holiday home is located 20 minutes from the exit Sénas.

By TGV:
Avignon TGV and Aix en Provence TGV are 45 minutes drive from the holiday home.

By plane:
Marseille (Marignane) is 1 hour drive from the holiday home.
